I had the opportunity to design some new note cards for some upcoming events. The most special one to me is the invitation for my aunt Esther Moore’s 50th Wedding Anniversary vow renewal. Congratulations to them. Samples of my recent work are below.

I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Rosalyn and Terrance this past Saturday. They are young but they are mature and 100% business minded. The wedding was beautiful and well organized and I enjoyed spending time with them and their family and friends on their very special day.

First Wedding of the Season

Ponya Bishop Photography has booked it’s first wedding for the season. Looking forward to shooting the wedding of Rosalyn and Terrance later this month. It was very nice meeting Rosalyn yesterday. She’s young and all about business! Her photographer was the last piece of the puzzle; the rest of her wedding is planned and all set. Now that Ponya Bishop Photography is in place, she can relax (hopefully!) until the big day. When people know what they want they don’t waste time, they make things happen!
Getting Back to Business

2011 was a transitional year for me on a personal level. I lost my mother after she fought through a bout of illness and my family went through a transformation. Photography took a back seat. But 2012 is about getting back to business. Ponya Bishop Photography has made some new investments and is already working on an exciting photo & video project with poet Getchristielove in Detroit. Looking for good things to happen this year. Back on focus and back to business.
Ronald Barnes

I recently had the pleasure of a mini photo session with my good friend, Ronald Barnes. Ron is one of Chicago’s sons, a graduate of Austin Peay State University with a B.S. in Psychology/Sociology, Spertus College with a Master of Science in Human Service Administration, a singer, drummer and wannabe Aikido master (lol).
